Mariel has been teaching yoga for 11 years and has taught over 3,000 yoga classes. In 2009, she completed her Teacher Training in Thailand and started teaching yoga fulltime right out of training. She has traveled the world learning from many teachers and has taught thousands of students over the years.
In addition to teaching groups and individuals, she served as a mentor for new teachers in NYC and was a part of the teaching team of the Absolute Hot Yoga Teacher Training. Mariel has taught classes and workshops in Singapore, New York City, Westchester, New Jersey, Manila, and Thailand.
Sensitive to energy and emotions from a young age, Mariel always had an interest in energy work and the healing arts. Her journey in yoga, meditation, and uncovering her own spirituality eventually led her to Reiki; and she received her Reiki I attunement in the fall of 2016.
Since 2018, Mariel has worked with her mentor, Victoria Libertore, to continue to hone her intuition, work with her guides, and grow deeper in her own spiritual practice. In the fall of 2018, she received her second attunement to Reiki I and was attuned to Reiki II.
An intuitive empath, Mariel is grateful to share the power of Reiki and provide a safe space for release, healing, and discovery. She is honored to walk this path and is thankful for the opportunity to assist you on your journey.
